Boys Tennis Opens Season With Win Over Cox

The Dolphins opened their season against Cox High School on Tuesday afternoon and earned a 6-3 victory. Cape Henry earned singles wins in its top four slots as Tanner Baine (6-0, 6-1), Mason Smith (6-1, 6-2), Seth White (6-1, 6-1) and Chris Armistead (3-6, 6-4, 10-7) each secured victories. The #1 and #2 doubles teams each earned straight set victories as well, as the combinations of Baine-Armistead (6-1, 6-2) and Smith-White (7-5, 6-2) were victorious.
