Boys Lacrosse Can't Overcome Slow Start, Falls to Williamsburg Warriors

The Dolphins hosted the Williamsburg Warriors on Tuesday afternoon and suffered their first defeat of the season, 13-5. The Warriors rang off seven straight goals to take a 7-0 halftime lead, but the reeling Dolphins resurfaced in the second half ready to fight. On goals from Austin Curran and John Everett, and thanks to the face off work of Colin Corcoran, Cape Henry cut the margin to 8-2, but that was as close as it would get. The Dolphins would get three more goals to close out their offense, one from Austin Curran, Garrett Deming and Garrett Kelly. Will Overman had 13 saves in the loss.
