SMITH, HESTER LEAD DOLPHINS IN ROMP OVER ATLANTIC SHORES

The Dolphins hosted Atlantic Shores on Saturday and put forth a dominant effort in a 61-25 victory. The Dolphins stormed out to a 34-8 halftime lead and never looked back from there. Alexis Smith led all scorers with 22 points, 20 of which came in the first half. Khajae Hester followed suit with 15 points and nine assists. The remainder of the offense came from La’Bria Wilson (nine points), Amalia Riess (six), Brianna Perry (five) and Zeniya Trowell (four). The win improved the Dolphins record to 9-0, and sets up a showdown with hood rival Cox on Tuesday night (5:30pm).
