GIRLS BASKETBALL ROLLS PAST GRANBY, WINS 11th STRAIGHT
The Dolphins hosted Granby High School last night and in what is becoming routine fashion secured another victory, winning 66-30. Cape Henry opened up a nine point halftime lead (26-17) before clamping down in the second half. The Dolphins used a 40-13 run to close out the 36 point victory. Alexis Smith led the charge offensively with 16 points, while Khajae Hester (12 points, nine assists and four steals) and La'Bria Wilson (12 points) were equally as effective. Rounding out the remaining offense was Brianna Perry (10 points), Zeniya Trowel (eight), Meredith Wallace (four), Amalia Riess (two) and Jennifer Harter (two). Cape Henry's record now sits at 11-0, and it faces First Colonial High School on Saturday (4pm).
