#2 RANKED DOLPHINS WIN STEWARD INVITATIONAL;
POLLARD NAMED TOURNAMENT MVP

The Dolphins traveled to the Steward Invitational on Friday for a two-day tournament, and they returned to Cape Henry with hardware in tow. They started off Friday with a lopsided 70-47 victory over Trinity Episcopal, and they finished the weekend with a 66-57 Championship Game victory over tournament host Steward School. Demetrius Pollard was named tournament MVP and Cecil Ward was selected to the All-Tournament team. Pollard finished the two game stretch with 58 points, including five 3-pointers. Terrell Allen led all scorers against Trinity Episcopal on Friday with 24 points, but he injured his thigh in the opening minutes of the game against Steward and did not finish the tournament. George Radford finished the weekend with 22 points, Devon Hall had 18 points in the two games, Connor Laframboise added seven points, and Cecil Ward had a point to go with a strong defensive weekend. Cape Henry is now 7-3 overall, and it hosts Cox on Tuesday (7pm).
