The Cape Henry girls swim team had a great showing on Saturday. The Dolphins picked up where they left off with four more wins and one loss putting their record at 7-2 on the season. Liza Nash started the meet off with a great swim in the 200 freestyle, and she set a season best time by more than two seconds. Addie Cooper added a season best of her own in the 100 freestyle, dropping close to 2 two seconds with a time of 57.56. In the 500 freestyle Jessica Miller added another swim to her personal best list, dropping more than 14 seconds with a time of 7:10.06. Kendall Tompkins continued on her winning ways by winning the 100 backstroke with a season best time of 1:07.61.

The Dolphins (6-2) had their first meet since before the holiday break on Saturday, and they turned in another great outing. Cape Henry picked up three wins in against four opponents, and the team didn’t give up any relay events, winning all three. The 200 medley relay started off the meet in blazing fashion, winning with a time of 1:43.76. The 200 freestyle relay continued the success winning the event with a time of 1:36.26. Lastly, the 400 freestyle relay team won a very close race with a time of 3:29.34.
