Reed, Ettel Pace Golf Team to 5h Straight Victory
The Varsity golf team continued to roll on Thursday afternoon as it defeated Nansemond-Suffolk Academy 305-363 at the Princess Anne Country Club. The win allowed the Dolphins to remain undefeated (5-0, 3-0 TCIS) and extended their home winning streak to 11 matches. Sophomores Kayleigh Reed and Michael Ettel both led the Dolphins with 75's, wining co-medalist honors. Chris Greene continued his solid senior season by shooting his second 77 of the year. Another bright spot was the play of Freshman Jake Richardson. Jake, playing in just his second varsity match, shot a steady 8 over par 78. Senior captains Max Wagner and Cecil Ward continued to provide valuable leadership while continuing their steady play. The Dolphins look to remain undefeated and extend their home winning streak to 12 when they host Peninsula Catholic on Tuesday at the Princess Anne Country Club.
