Ballard's Pitching, Dolphins Offense Blasts NSA
The Dolphins traveled to Nansemond-Suffolk yesterday for a key conference match-up, and they wasted little time blasting their way to victory. Cape Henry scored 12 runs in the first three innings and cruised to a 16-4 victory. Carrying a 12-4 lead into the top of the fifth inning the Dolphins scored four more runs to close out the 12 run victory. Tyler Ramirez led the charge with three hits, and Michael Kroll had two hits and four RBIs. Tyler Ballard was the winning pitcher for Cape Henry, building his record to 3-1 on the season. The Dolphins (7-2, 4-0 TCIS) play next on Tuesday when they travel to Peninsula Catholic.
