Whited, Wynkoop Lead Baseball Past Northampton
Cape Henry traveled to Northampton High School on Tuesday afternoon and rode the hot pitching arm of Jack Wynkoop to a 6-1 victory. The Dolphins gave up a run in the top of the first inning to take a quick 1-0 deficit before finding their groove offensively. Cape Henry scored two runs in the bottom of the first to regain the lead, and then added one in the third, one in the fourth and two in the fifth to close out the win. Blake Whited powered the offense with two home runs, and Tyler Ramirez added a long ball of his own. The Dolphins (2-2) looks to build on their two-game wining streak when they host Clearfield High School (PA) on Thursday.
