Dolphins Wrestlers Finish 6th Out of 28 Teams;
Mason Earns State Championhip

The Dolphins competed in the state private school tournament this past Saturday, and once again they turned in an impressive performance. Cape Henry finished in 6th place out of 28 teams, and took home 1st place in the mid-size school division. Sophomore Will Mason went 4-0 en route to a state championship in the 103 lb weight class. Sam Law went 4-1 at 160 lbs, which was good enough for a second place finish. Scott Cunningham battled to a 4-1 record and took home a second place finish as well. Each of the three qualified for the National Preps which are held in Lehigh, PA on February 26 and 27. The Dolphins earned additional wins from Taylor Calley (3-3, 6th place), Josh Lim (2-2), Kyle Mytelka (3-2, 7th place), Thomas Armistead (4-2, 7th place), Kevin Riggins (1-2), Greg Noordanus (3-2, 7th place), Jake Henning (2-2) and Tanner Baine (1-2).
