DOLPHINS BASKETBALL TEAMS ARE DOMINANT AGAINST NANSEMOND-SUFFOLK ON THURSDAY NIGHT

Boys Basketball
Cape Henry 81, NSA 53
Cape Henry traveled to Nansemond-Suffolk on Thursday night for the next in a long line of TCIS match-ups and took home an 81-53 win. The Dolphins blasted out a 28 point first half lead and never looked back from there, building their overall record to 12-4 (2-1 TCIS). George Radford led Cape Henry with 21 points. Radford was on fire from beyond the arc, dropping in seven 3-pointers to pace the Dolphins offense. Demetrius Pollard added 17 points, Terrell Allen had 14 points and 19 rebounds, and Connor LaFramboise added 12 points. The remaining offense came from Aaron Drury (seven points), Cecil Ward (four), Devon Hall (four) and Mike Maroon (two).

Cape Henry 55, NSA 31
The Dolphins hosted NSA on Thursday night on the heels of a close win over Walsingham Tuesday night, and they left little doubt about the outcome, sealing a 24 point victory. Cape Henry led by just two points at halftime (18-16), but it exploded for a 37 point second half en route to victory. Khajae Hester led the Dolphins with 14 points while Amalia Riess and La’Bria Wilson each added 12 points. Riess dropped in two 3-pointers. Alexis Smith added nine points, Zeniya Trowell had six points and Meredith Wallace added two points to complete the offense. The win improves Cape Henry to 15-1 overall (2-1 TCIS).
