Golf Team Finishes Regular Season With Victory Over Bulldogs; Ranked #1 Team in the State

The varsity golf team completed their TCIS season Friday defeating rival Norfolk Academy 307-319. The win improved the Dolphins to 10-1 overall, and it completes conference play with a 7-1 record. The match was the final one at home for seniors Cecil Ward, Max Wagner, Chris Greene, and Coles Keeter who went out in style. Wagner and Keeter took home co-medalist honors with rounds of 74 each to pace the team to victory. Kayleigh Reed continued her stellar play posting a 76, her ninth sub 80 round of the season. The seniors have compiled a 24-2 record overall and 14-2 TCIS record over the past two seasons and leave Cape Henry never losing at the Princess Anne, riding a 14 match win streak. The team currently sits a top the Division 1 State Poll as they gear up for the TCIS tournament. First the Dolphins travel to Richmond Tuesday where they face Trinity Episcopal, Atlantic Shores, and Steward School at Salisbury Country Club at 3:00.
