Girls Lacrosse Falls to Bulldogs on Senior Day

Cape Henry hosted rival Norfolk Academy on Friday in a matchup that would determine the final seeding of this week’s TCIS tournament and fell by a score of 18-10. Behind a brand new defensive scheme, the Dolphins produced numerous turnovers but were unable to convert the possessions on the offensive end of the field. Defensive stars on the day were Maddie Houck and Payton Schaubach, while the offense was handled by Ashmore Standing (four goals, two assists), Regan Heagley (three goals) and Laney Clarke (three goals). Cape Henry heads into tournament play this week with a quarterfinal matchup at home tomorrow against Nansemond-Suffolk Academy (4pm).
