Bulldogs Too Much for Boys Lacrosse Team in Regular Season Finale

The Dolphins traveled to Norfolk Academy on Friday for their final regular season game and fell 15-7. Will Overman led the charge for Cape Henry, saving 18 shots in his best attempt to keep the Dolphins in the contest. John Everett (one assist) battled on face offs, winning 11 out of 24 draws against one of the best players in the state. Mike Maroon dished out two assists and showcased maximum effort in every single phase of the game. Colin Corcoran led the offense with three goals while Phil White (two goals), Austin Curran (one goal, one assist), Garrett Deming (one goal) and Peter Pearson (one assist) rounded out the scoring. The Dolphins finish the regular season 6-9 overall (4-2 TCIS), and they earned the #3 seed in the TCIS tournament. They will host 6th seed Norfolk Collegiate on Tuesday afternoon.
