Poppen, Offense Power Dolphins Past Catholic

The Dolphins traveled to Bishop Sullivan on Tuesday and used a powerful offensive effort and strong relief pitching to grab a 13-8 victory. Tyler and Colin Ballard and Blake Whited led the offensive charge, combing for 8 RBIs. Tyler Ballard hit a home run and drove in two runs. Colin Ballard hit a homer of his own and had three RBIs. Blake Whited hit the Dolphins third home run and knocked in three RBIs of his own. Chad Becker had four hits and three runs scored. Sean Poppen came in as a relief pitcher early in the game and earned his first victory of the season.
