Trowell and Smith's Double-Doubles Lead Dolphins to Romp

Cape Henry hosted Peninsula Catholic last night and used a devastating first half to bury their TCIS counterpart, winning 70-27. The Dolphins blasted out to a 13-0 first quarter lead and built that to a 31-5 halftime advantage. From there the contest was a foregone conclusion. The Dolphins were led by Zeniya Trowell's double-double, 17 points and 10 rebounds. Trowell had four blocked shots as well. Alexis Smith added 11 points and 11 rebounds for her own double-double. La'Bria Wilson had eights points, and Khajae Hester had six points. Meredith Wallace (six points), Brianna Perry (six), Amalia Riess (three) and Payton Schaubach (two) rounded out the offense. Jennifer Harter added three assists for Cape Henry. The Dolphins look to build on last night's performance with a big contest against Bishop Sullivan Tuesday night (7pm).
