BOYS BASKETBALL FALLS IN TCIS FINALS

Cape Henry traveled to Norfolk Christian on Saturday, and despite a hard fought effort fell 66-54. The Dolphins trailed by 13 points at halftime (37-24) thanks to fast start by the Ambassadors, but Cape Henry battled through the third quarter to take a four point deficit into the final frame (44-40). That was as close as the Dolphins would get, though, as Christian took home the conference title. Senior captain Terrell Allen led Cape Henry with 19 points, and Demetrius Pollard followed suit with 13 points, Devon Hall and Chris Campbell each dropped in eight points, and George Radford contributed six points. The Dolphins look to rebound for Division II state tournament play this week.
