Dolphins Swimmers Take Home 2nd Place Finishes in TCIS Championship Meet

The Cape Henry boys swim team competed in the TCIS championship meet on Friday and took home a second place finish. The Dolphins finished with 389 points, just one point shy of the first place finishing Bulldogs. Robert Knuth had victories in both the 50 Freestyle and the 100 Backstroke and was named as the Most Valuable Performer. Cape Henry had additional wins from Keegan McLaughlin (200 Free and 100 Free), John Farley (100 Fly), Max Serpe (200 IM) and the team grabbed victories in the 200 Medley Relay and the 400 Freestyle Relay.

The girls swim team also took to the water on Friday hoping to make noise in the TCIS championship meet, and they did just that, finished in second place with 304 points. The Dolphins had team wins in the 200 Medley Relay and the 200 Freestyle Relay, while Kendall Tompkins took home two first places finishes (50 Free and 100 Back). Addie Cooper grabbed two third place finishes in the 100 Freestyle and 100 Breastroke, and the Dolphins earned a third place finish in the 300 Freestyle Relay.

The Dolphins compete in the state championship meet on Friday and Saturday.
